Current Certificated Open Positions:

Elementary Hi-Cap Teacher

This employee is responsible for organizing, implementing, and supporting modified instructional strategies to meet the needs of gifted students in hi-cap groups and/or basic education classes.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to:

  1. Lesson and Activity Planning, supporting family engagement events with activities.
  2. Continuing Professional Growth through OSPI resources, professional literature, and conferences.
  3. Preparing, implementing, and evaluating an annual educational plan for each student based on individually assessed needs in accordance with district procedures.
  4. Collaborate with general education teachers to enhance basic education classes when appropriate.
  5. Implement the spring recruitment process: advertise, screen, assess, team decision, and parent communication.
  6. Assist the district in meeting reporting and grant requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Teaching Certificate, Classroom Teaching Experience, Experience in a like position, PASSION for students that are highly capable and a desire to advocate on their behalf.

 Primary job assignment will be recess support with the possibility of being reassigned as needed.

 CES Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 11:15 – 2:15 (3 hours x 4 days)
Wednesday: 10:30-1:30 (3 hours x 1 day)

 SES Hours

Monday-Friday: 11:15 – 1:30 (2.25 hours x 5 days)
Thursday only: 9:45-10:45 (additional 1 hour x 1 day)

These are non-benefited positions. Applicants must have 72 hours of college credits OR hold an AA degree OR be able to pass the ParaPro test. Complete the Classified application found here if interested.

Instructional Paraeducator - SES


Monday-Friday: 10:45 – 3:45 (5 hours x 5 days)

Primary job assignments will be recess support and office support.Applicants must have at least 72 college credits OR an AA degree OR be able to pass the ParaPro test prior to employment.

Head Baseball Coach - Stevenson High School

  • Season runs March 2020-May 2020

Assistant Wrestling Coach - Wind River Middle School

  • Season runs November 2019-February 2020

Previous experience a plus but not required. Coaches must be willing to get a valid first aid card and be able to meet WIAA requirements. Interested applicants need to complete the Coaching application found here.

Must have a current and valid WA CDL A or B with PS-1 interstate endorsement, CPR/First Aid card, and a medical examiners certificate.

Lifeguard / Swim Instructor / Exercise Instructor

$12.00/hr for Lifeguarding
$12.50/hr for Swim Instruction and Exercise Instruction
Schedule will vary
Participation or completion of a High School Diploma program or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) program, or higher is preferred.
Must be at least 15 years of age by the last day of Red Cross Lifeguard Training class.
