The Stevenson-Carson School District is pleased to announce that Mrs. Kelli Dizmang has accepted a Vice Principal position for Wind River Middle School and Stevenson High School.
Mrs. Dizmang has taught for over 15 years and most recently as a Math Intervention Specialist in the Washougal School District. Along with an administrator certificate, she brings a strong curriculum background, a desire to better understand and respond to data to guide school improvement, and a passion to serve the students, staff and community in our district. Mrs. Dizmang shared that her time away from school will most likely be “spent in athletic shoes at the gym or on the field” as she has a passion for running and participating in lifting and boot-camp style classes and is happy that her family has recently become interested in participating in similar fitness activities.

This position is to replace an administrative resignation at Wind River Middle School and Stevenson High School.


The Stevenson-Carson School District is pleased to announce that Mrs. Carolyn “Suz” Clark-Bennett has accepted a Vice Principal position.
This position will provide program administrator leadership to a variety of programs with the top priority being a School and Community Coalition Coordinator to increase the health and well-being of the youth, parents, and community members of the Stevenson-Carson School District by reducing and preventing drug and alcohol use through education, intervention and outreach. Mrs. Clark-Bennett has taught in the Columbia River Gorge for over 20 years and most recently as a social studies, theater and student leadership advisor in our school district. As she said in her interview, “this is home.” Mrs. Clark-Bennett is completing her internship with City University this spring and will earn a Principal and Program Administrator Certification. With her certificate, she brings a strong background in student leadership, a variety of state level social studies involvement and a desire to be in a leadership position as the district continues to improve. Mrs. Clark-Bennett has shared that her time away from school is always FAMILY FIRST. She is very proud of the fact that she shares her home with four generations and weekends include softball, beach trips, baking and maintaining the family farm.

Funding for this position comes from a generous grant managed by ESD 112 and a state grant.
